Try the following steps if you're having trouble logging in or registering on the Committee Portal:


1. Ensure that the email address you're using to register is in the format yz12345@bristol.ac.uk (i.e. don't use @my.bristol.ac.uk). If that doesn't work then try just your Student/User ID (e.g. yz12345 - the one you use to login to University websites).


2. Still not working? Go to 'My Details' on the SU website (you may need to login first) and check what email address we have listed for you. If it is different from any email address you've tried so far then try registering on the Portal with that one.


3. Still no good? We might not know that you're a Committee Member if your President/Captain/Project Coordinator hasn't completed the 'Committee' section on the Portal yet. Ask them to add you and this should fix the problem. 


If none of the above steps work then create a new support ticket so we can take a closer look. Be sure to include the following:

  • Your name
  • Your student ID (in the form xy12345)
  • The society you should belong to
  • Your position within that society.
